I'm a software developer who got tired of agencies overcomplicating simple things. So I started Tailwater to do it the way it should be: marketing sites that look great and load fast, software built around how you actually work, and someone who picks up the phone when you call.
The name comes from fly fishing. Tailwater is the cold, clear water below a dam — calm on the surface, with a strong current running underneath. That's the goal for your tech, too.

How much does a website cost?
Every site is scoped to what you actually need, so I quote each project individually rather than selling a one-size package. Tell me what you're after and you'll get a clear, fixed price up front, with no hourly surprises.
How long does a project take?
Most small-business marketing sites take a few weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on the size of the site and how quickly the content comes together. You'll get a realistic timeline before we start, and regular updates along the way.
Do you only work with businesses in Ogden?
I'm based in the Ogden area and love working with local businesses across Northern Utah, including Roy, Layton, Clinton, North Ogden, and the wider Weber and Davis County area. The work is fully remote-friendly too, so location is never a barrier.
Will I be able to update the site myself?
Yes. I build on an easy-to-edit CMS and hand everything over documented, so you can change text, images, and pages without calling a developer. If you'd rather I handle updates, I offer that too.
Do you offer support after launch?
I do. I stick around with managed maintenance to keep your site fast, secure, and current, so it still works a year from now. You own everything and you're never locked in.
